Obituary for ALICE M. ATIKIAN

They moved back to Amman, Jordan in 1948, where their son, Sarkis, was born. Because of the civil unrest in the area, the family immigrated to the USA in 1959, in search of peace, opportunity and a better life.

Alice, from the very beginning, had been a generous supporter of her church, Armenian organizations and the community. As an active member of the Garmir Khatch (ARS - Armenian Relief Society), she was a dedicated representative to all meetings and functions. She proudly donated to the new altar at St. Sarkis and was a faithful member of the Fellowship Club. She could always be spotted working hard at all events surrounding the church.
