ARDACHES KOUYOUMDJIAN

Ardaches Kouyoumdjian passed away October 25, 2018 in Warren, Michigan. Born in Bulgaria, he was the son of Mouchegh and Alice (nee Gononian) Kouyoumjian. He was seven years old when the family moved to Detroit, where Ardaches received his education. He graduated from the AGBU Alex Manoogian School and went on to attend Michigan State University. He had a culinary passion for food and cooking, and was also an accomplished musician, playing many different instruments. Most especially, he enjoyed playing the guitar in musical bands, entertaining friends and classmates in college. Ardaches also was an athlete, who played basketball and soccer. Enjoying sports, he was an avid golfer, as well as an enthusiastic Detroit Lions fan. As his life progressed, Ardaches became a car salesman, working for several automobile dealerships. Ardaches Kouyoumdjian had a happy personality. He was a positive and encouraging person, who was friendly and well loved by family and friends. VISITATIONIn State Monday from 5pm to 8pm in St. John Armenian Church, 22001 Northwestern Hwy, Southfield, MI 48075 with Dan Gark prayers at 7:30pm.FUNERALThe family will also receive friends in the church on Tuesday from 10am until time of Funeral Services at 11am.Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.FAMILY MEMBERSBeloved son of the late Moushegh and Alice Kouyoumjian. Deaest brother of Sarkis (Kristin) Kouyoumjian.
