Alice Sarkisian

Alice Sarkisian age 94 passed away January 18th. Born to Garbis and Matilda Alatchanian in Highland Park , Michigan. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Garbis (2017). She was the loving mother of George (Koni) and Dan (Susan) Sarkisian. Grandmother to Adam (Shawna), Lindsay (Viktor), Christina (Fredric). Great Grandmother to Alina, Eliana, Dorian, Leila, Gabriel, Brielle, Myles, Mary, Veronica, Faustina, Theodora, Josephine.  Sister of the late Harry (the late Pat) Alatchanian. Aunt of Gary and the late Lisa and families.

Alice worked as a clerical worker at the Highland Park Police department, Carboloy and a Chevrolet dealership in her younger years and later became a leading sales representative Talbots Department store for women." Alice took on the career she loved the most", home maker. She took a lot of pride in keeping a well-kept and clean house. Aside from taking care of her home and raising her sons she loved her local sports teams, playing the piano, traveling, bowling, playing cards, playing slot machines, reading, exercising, watching movies, eating out at different restaurants and shopping (she was a bit of a mall queen). All these things paled when it came to her love for her grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and her sons. Of all her accomplishments she considered raising a beautiful family her finest one. And as her sons said she was the best mother a child could have ever had.

Committal Services are planned for Friday May 8th at the Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road Holly, Michigan 48442 at 12:30 pm when Alice and Garbis will be laid to rest together.
