Dickranouhie "Dickie: Keshishian peacefully passed away February 4, 2020, in Novi, Michigan with her family by her. Born in Beirut, Lebanon on June 5, 1927, she was the daughter of Dikran and Yeranouhie (nee, Varbedian) Messrobian.The family moved to Grenoble, France, when she was just an infant. Dickranouhie received her education there and graduated from high school. She immigrated to the USA in 1948 and settled in Highland Park, MI, where she married Levon Keshishian. The happy couple was blessed with the birth of two daughters, Isabel and Carol. A devoted wife and mother, she immaculately cared for her home and family. Dickranouhie was an excellent cook and took pride in hosting her family and friends to delicious dinners. Dickranouhie was a faithful woman who set a fine example of Christian Fellowship, as an active member of the Armenian Congregational Church and long-time supporter of the Armenian Missionary Association. With her strong feeling for her Armenian heritage and culture, she was a dedicated member of the Daughters of Vartan. Reading was an enjoyable pastime for her. And, she was interested and followed closely the news of government politics.
