Dr. Annette Aroxie Bazian passed December 23, 2024, following a prolonged illness Born in Highland Park, Mi on January 24, 1954, she was the daughter of Andrew S. and Nevart V. (Mesrobian) Bazian. Growing up in a warm Armenian community with her brother, Andrew Barkey, Annette graduated from Henry Ford High School in 1972.
Being a highly intelligent person, with a caring for helping others, Annette began her upward direction by earning her B.S. degree in Psychology with honors at Wayne State University in1976.
She then attended Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where she became a M.D - Medical Doctor in 1982. Proving her abilities in medicine, she was awarded her Board Certification following her training at Sinai Hospital from 1982 – 1985.
Continuing on, Annette became Board Certified in Child Adolescent Psychiatry in 1989, after training at WSU and Hawthorn Center in 1985-1987.She was awarded a position on the Psychiatry Staff at Hawthorn Center in Northville, MI from 1987-2007, while co-current Consultant for Children’s Center of Wayne County
She then moved to become the Consultant for Beaumont Center for Human Development in the Henry Health System from 1995-2002.
This remarkable woman was highly noted for her dedication in medicine and specialized psychiatry, despite her own health and disability problems, as she expanded her horizons and became licensed in Michigan and the State of Florida, where she enjoyed peaceful days of comfort in her St. Pete Beach, FL home.
