Eleanor Manoogian peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 8th, 2024. Born June 4th, 1930 in Regina Saskatchewan to Matilda and John Jacob, Eleanor was a loving, kind and selfless woman.
While working as a sewing machine operator at Ford Motor company she met and fell in love with Wally. They were married for almost 40 beautiful years and together raised 4 children. Eleanor was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her love for her family was unconditional and unmatched. She enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, crocheting, dancing and gardening. Her unfaltering faith and strength helped her beat breast cancer at age 52. Her wisdom, and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her laughter, great sense of humor, and kind heart will forever be missed but never forgotten.
FAMILY MEMBERS
Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Wally, Daughter of the late Matilda & John Jacob and sister of the late George (Areila) and Bill.
She was the dearest mother of Laurie (Chris Holsbeke), Danny (Diane), Jerry and the late Richard (Luci). Grandmother of Shannon (Marcus), Christopher (Corrine), Rebecca (Matt), Alisha, Richie (Kaitlynn), Al (Valerie) , Stacie (Norm), John (Stacey) & Danny (Robyn). Great Grandmother to 18 and counting great grandchildren.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Under the direction of Simon Javizian Funeral Directors, visitation will take place on January 10, 2025, Friday from 3pm to 8pm, with Prayer Service at 7:00pm in Wasik Funeral Home, 49150 Schoenherr Road, (N of 22 Mile Road), Shelby Charter Twsp., MI 48315.
Interment will be at 11:am Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit, MI
