HAIG GOPOIAN

Haig Gopoian passed away on April 1, 2018 in Ann Arbor, MI. Born June 11, 1928 in Detroit, his parents were George Krikor Gopoian and Agnes (nee Narsesian) Gopoian. Growing up in the Armenian community of Delray, Haig enjoyed spending the summers on the farm in Syracuse, NY. Graduating from Southwestern High School, he was inducted into the US Army during the Korean War, where he served honorably for a number of years He married Dolores M. Sine in 1952 and became a dedicated, hard working family man. The family spent many happy years vacations together through out Michigan, Canada, Florida and the farm in Syracuse, NY. Having worked for many years in a number of industries, including the auto industry, Haig finally retired from the Healthcare field as an employee of the Blue-Cross Blue-Shield network. Haig Gopoian shall always be remembered by his loved ones for his devotion and dedication to family and friends.........FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS In State April 5, 2018, Thursday from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am, followed by U.S. Army Military Honors at 12 Noon in St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church; 19300 Ford Road, Dearborn.
