Haygas Haroian passed away April 2, 2016 in Farmington, Michigan Born October 19, 1924 in Granite City, Illinois, he was the son of Neshan & Hasig (Menoian) Haroian. Haygas (Gus) served his country during WWII in the US Navy on the USS Reynolds DE-42 in the Pacific Ocean. Haygas was a life member of Findlater Masonic Lodge #475. His 66 years of marriage to Norma (Apigian) Haroian is a testament to their love for each other. Besides his wife he leaves his son Tom Haroian & family, daughter Denise her husband Dan, their children Danielle, Haig & Joe Sullivan. After retiring from Whitman & Barnes as Sales Manager, where he traveled the country, he & Norma started their own business, H&N, where his reputation for honesty, responsibility and trust were his trademark. There wasn't a person he didn't touch in some way and leave with a smile. Trips to Vegas and golfing were his passion.The world is a better place because of him. He will be missed terribly by his family and leaves a trail of friends neighbors and acquaintances a mile long. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to St Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church or Angela hospice. He will lie In State Wednesday from 5:30pm to 8pm, with Dan Gark Prayers at 7:30pm in St.Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church, 19300 Fod Rd, Dearborn..
