Harry Karagosian Jr., 64, of Waterford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. He was born on February 7, 1961, and was a devoted and loving father to Emilie Karagosian, as well as a brother to Robert, Tim, and Dave.
Harry was known for his dedication to the family business and remarkable attention to detail. For more than 40 years, he worked as a jeweler, taking immense pride in turning his customers’ ideas and dreams into meaningful, beautifully crafted pieces. His work was more than a profession; it was his tie to his family. Harry always made time for his friends and family, who were at the center of his life.
He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, his iconic laugh, and the warmth he brought into any room. Beneath that lighthearted spirit was a man of deep generosity, kindness, and sincerity.
Harry’s hobbies reflected his joyful and curious nature. He loved what he called “putzing around in the garage,” heading out onto the lake with his sea scooter, or grilling for friends and family. His love for jewelry-making never faded, and even after retirement he continued to practice his craft, leaving a lasting imprint on his community.
Harry was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harry Sr. and Florence Karagosian, as well as several dear friends who welcomed him home. He is survived by his daughter, Emilie Karagosian, brothers Robert, Timothy (Robin), and David (Dawn) Karagosian. Nieces and Nephews, Dana (Mark) Peznowski, TJ (Leah) Karagosian, Robert (Amanda) Karagosian, Tamara (Michael) Yessian, Audrey (Adam) Jackson, Anthony Karagosian, Andrea Karagosian, and Amanda Karagosian. As well as many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
