KEVORK BADASHIAN

Mr. Kevork Badashian peacefully passed away at home on December 11, 2018, with his family around him. Born in Aleppo, Syria on January 17, 1952, he was the son of Karkour and Nektar (nee Mamaian) Badashian.The family moved to Kuwait when Kevork was 8 years old. Growing up there, he became an auto mechanic, remaining there for the next 30 years.He married Marina Joljian and moved back to Aleppo. But, in 2013, because of the war-strife, they went to live in Armenia. Fortunately, they were able to immigrate to the USA in 2015, and were reunited with their daughter and family in Detroit.Kevork's health declined rapidly and he was unable to work. And so, he succumbed to his illness and passed away in his daughter's house. FAMILY MEMBERSDear husband of Marina. Beloved father of Naiery (Harout) Ajemian, Shant (Tamar) Badashian. Loving grandfather of Lara, Hrag, and Lyana. Dear brother of Alice Badashian.FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTSThe family will receive friends on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 11:am in St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church, 19300 Ford Road, Dearborn.
