Mary (Manoogian) Parsaghian, age 95, passed away September 21, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born May 28, 1924, in Marseille, France. Her parents were Ohanes and Serpouhi (Khanemeg) Manoogian.The following Bible Verse speaks to her faith and her preparedness:2 Timothy 4:6-8As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.VISITATION AND FUNERALFuneral services and burial will take place September 30, 2019, Monday, in Granite City, Illinois. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:30am in St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church, 1014 W. Pontoon Road, Granite City, IL 62040. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, IL.
