MICHAEL JOSEPH TAKESSIAN

Michael Joseph Takessian peacefully passed away in his home in Farmington Hills on June 18, 2022, with his father and family around him. Born on July 13, 1983, in Worchester, Massachusetts, his parents were Vartan and Leslie (nee Shepluck) Takessian. He was born with difficulties; but not-withstanding the forthcoming crises, the little infant was to face, Michael overcame them one at a time and was happily called "The Miracle Baby".

Unfortunatly, his mother passed away when Michael was only 5 years old. Moving to Detroit, his father cared for Michael, a happy child,  as he grew up, received his education at the AGBU Alex Manoogian School and graduated from high school.

Michael was a unique fellow. He was very interested in music and while enjoying playing his musical and educational records, remarkebly he learned the Russian language.

Michael had a special affection for his dad. And as a close knit family, Michael loved his family, too.

FAMILY MEMBERS

His loving father, Vartan Takessian. His deceased mother, the late Leslie Takessian, Many aunts and uncles and cousins in the Takessian, Avakian, Pope, and Amerkhanian families.

VISITATION AND FUNERAL SERVICE

The funeral service will take place on June 22, 2022, Wednesday, at 11:00am in the Armenian Congregational Church, 26210 Twelve Mile Road (East of Northwestern Hwy) Southfield, MI 48034.  The family will receive visitors from 10AM until the time of funeral service at 11AM. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westland, MI 48185
