ROBERT JOSEPH SCOLLARD

Bob Scollard is a loving husband and father, who passed away peacefully on August 21 at age 94. Bob was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on August 1, 1925, he was the son of Clint and Mary (Wherity) Scollard. Bob honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He received his bachelor's degree in Business from Duke University, MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and law degree (Jurist Doctorate) from Wayne State University. He started his career with Ford Motor Company in 1952 and retired in 1991 after a distinguished 38 year career as an executive in various areas, finishing in Technological Affairs, which involved frequent global travel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary "Tish." He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loraine "Sunni" Scollard, his three sons, Rob (Robin), Hank, Clint (Aimee), his four granddaughters Morgan, Hayley, Elle, Riley, his brother Bill (Kuniko), and many nieces and nephews.Bob was passionate about following all sports especially Duke basketball and Michigan football. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Sunni. In retirement, Bob spent his winter months at his condominium in Bonita Springs, FL where he enjoyed golf, jogging and walking while avoiding the snow and cold of Michigan winters.FAMILY MEMBERSBob is survived by his beloved wife, E. Loraine Scollard; Dearest children, Robert J. (Robin) Scollard, Henry S. Scollard, and Clinton J. (Aimee) Scollard.; Four Cherished grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.VISITATION and FUNERALAugust 30, 2019, Friday from 9:30am, until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00am in the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N.
